NEET 2025: Check out Do's and Don'ts for applications

New Delhi- The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) exam for the academic year 2025 on May 4, 2025. On this, the NTA has already started the registration for the NEET UG exam 2025; interested candidates should be aware of do's and don't's.

As per the information bulletin, the candidate, before submitting the application form online, must ensure their eligibility to appear in the test. The candidate is required to go through the Information Bulletin carefully and be clear about all requirements about the submission of the Application Form.

DO’S AND DON'T'S WHILE APPLYING FOR NEET UG 2025

1 The Candidate should fill in complete correspondence and permanent address with the pin code, e-mail address, and mobile number. The mobile number and email ID should be of the candidate's or parent's guardian's only for future correspondence.

2 Candidate should not give the postal address, contact number/mobile number, and e-mail ID of Coaching Centres in their Online Application Form.

3 The Application Form other than the one filled in online mode will not be accepted. The Candidates are not required to send the Confirmation Page of the Online Application Form or any other document to the NTA. However, the candidates are advised to preserve at least four copies of the Confirmation Page along with the proof of fee paid for future reference.

4 Candidates from UT of J&K and Ladakh are required to submit an online Self Declaration for seats under 15% All India Quota.

The candidates need to provide any one of the following identity details given below-

1 Indian Nationals of all States- Class 12 Admit Card, Aadhaar Card, Election Card (EPIC No.), Ration Card, Bank Account Passbook with Photograph, Passport Number or Number of any other Photo Identity Card issued by Government.

2 NRIs- Passport Number.

3 Foreign Nationals/ OCI- Passport Number/ Citizenship Certificate Number.

Along with this, candidates also have to scan images of the following in JPG /PDF format only, for uploading the same as part of the submission of his/her online application-

i Latest Passport size Photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size: 10 kb to 200 kb).

2 Scanned Signature in JPG/JPEG format (size: 10 kb to 50 kb).

3 Left and Right-hand Fingers and Thumb impressions in JPG/JPEG (size:10 kb to 200 kb).

4 PwD/PwBD certificates in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb).

5 Citizenship Certificate/ Embassy Certificate or any Documentary proof of Citizenship certificate in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb).

Meanwhile, after submitting your application form, make sure you generate and download the confirmation page. Deduction of fees from bank accounts is not considered proof of payment and must be supported by the confirmation page. Once submitted, the application cannot be withdrawn, and the examination fee once submitted will not be refunded or carried forward to future exams.

Also, keep details like parents and candidates' names with correct spelling, class 12 admit card with photo, election card with EPIC number, passport number, Aadhaar card, ration card number, bank account number, other valid government identity card number, date of birth, address, mobile number, email id etc. ready.
