NEET 2025: Expected Cut-Offs for Maharashtra MBBS, BDS Admission Based on Last Years' Trends
Maharashtra- India's biggest medical entrance exam, the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025, was conducted on May 4, 2025. Although the NEET cut-off 2025 is yet to be announced officially, as per last year's opening and closing rank details, aspirants can anticipate their chances of getting admission in their preferred medical colleges.
Maharashtra is one of the states where a large number of students appear for the NEET UG exam, and it has a high number of MBBS seats available in government colleges. The candidates who are willing to take admission in Maharashtra medical colleges for MBBS courses must be aware of the state's NEET cut-off 2025.
Admission to Maharashtra medical colleges is done through the NEET UG exam. The 15% of the seats are filled through the All India Quota (AIQ), while 85% of the seats are filled through the state quota of Maharashtra. Maharashtra NEET cut-off indicates the marks required for state quota admission. It is important to note that candidates must have a domicile of the state of Maharashtra to get admission through the state quota.
Therefore, the Maharashtra NEET cut off for the academic year 2025 is yet to be published, and it will be issued by the Maharashtra Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) on the official website after the NEET 2025 result is declared. After this, students will be able to access the PDF of the cutoff list for government and private medical colleges in Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, the Maharashtra NEET score cut-off has increased by about 10 to 20 marks every year across all reservation categories. NEET cut-off for 2023 and 2024 has increased by about 50 to 80 marks. Below is the expected Maharashtra NEET cut-off for 2025-

Moreover, the NEET 2025 expected percentile for General, EWS category students is 50 and expected score is 720-140, for OBC, SC, ST category students is 40 and score is 139-120, for General / EWS – PWD category students is 45 and score is 139-125 and for OBC, SC, ST – PWD category students is 40 and score is 119-105.
