NEET 2026: NTA extends correction window to update bank details for exam fee refund
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened a fresh correction window for candidates seeking a refund of the NEET UG 2026 examination fee. The extension in the facility allows them to update or correct their bank account details to facilitate the refund process.
According to the public notice issued by the NTA in this regard, the agency had earlier provided candidates with the facility to submit and confirm their bank account details for processing examination fee refunds. However, the agency observed that a significant number of candidates had entered invalid or incorrect bank account details, resulting in the failure of the refund transaction.
To address this issue, the NTA has decided to provide another opportunity for affected candidates to rectify their bank account information. The correction facility will remain available from July 14, 2026, up to 11:50 PM.
Candidates whose refund transactions were unsuccessful can log in to the NEET (UG) 2026 registration portal using their application number and password. They will be required to click on the 'Bank Account Details Confirmation' option and update the necessary information before submitting it for verification.
STEPS TO UPDATE BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS FOR NEET UG 2026 REFUND

STEP 2- Log in using application number and password or date of birth.
STEP 3- Open the bank details update/refund section.
