NEET PG 2023 to be held in March, check out details
New Delhi : Ending the wait for Thousands of PG medical aspirants across the country, the National Board of examinations has announced that NEET PG 2023 will be held on 5th March 2023
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section 61(2) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 read with 10 (D) of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences ( NBEMS) shall conduct the next NEET- PG on 5th March 2023. Online Submission of the Application form can be made from 5th January 2023 (3 PM Onward) to 25th January 2023 (Till 11: 55 PM). The exam will be held on 5th March 2023 and the result will be declared By 31st March 2023
While the details of the exam are still not out on the Natboard website at the time of writing this report, the notice was issued as public notice on Times of India
As per the notice, the Information Bulletin will be available 5th January 2023 onwards

NEET-PG is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses which will include the following:
a) All India 50% quota seats for all States/Union territories of India.
b) State quota seats for all States/Union territories of India.
c) All Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities all across the country
d) Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
e) Post MBBS DNB Courses and Post MBBS NBE Diploma Courses
The following medical institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS seats through NEET- PG:
1. AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS
2.PGIMER, Chandigarh
3.JIPMER, Puducherry
4.NIMHANS, Bengaluru
5.Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum
No State Government/Private Medical college/Universities shall be conducting any separate entrance for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses.
UPDATE 05/05/2023- National Board of examinations has finally issued a notice on its official website confirming that it will be conducting NEET PG 2023 on 5th March 2023, but registration for the same may not start from January 5th, 2023. The notification for inviting online applications for NEET-PG 2023 shall be published in coming days, stated NBE adding that Kindly ignore the advertisement published in some newspapers today informing that the NEET-PG 2023 applications are invited from 5th January 2023 onwards,
National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) shall conduct the NEET-PG 2023 on 5 th March 2023 on a Computer Based Platform at various test centres across the country.The notification for inviting online applications for NEET-PG 2023 shall be published in coming days. Please refer to the NBEMS website https://natboard.edu.in periodically in this regard.
" Kindly ignore the advertisement published in some newspapers today informing that the NEET-PG 2023 applications are invited from 5th January 2023 onwards," the notice added
