Commenting on the new fee structure, the National Chairperson and President of the United Doctors' Front (UDF), Dr. Lakshya Mittal, told Medical Dialogues, "The recent decision by the Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC) is a historic and commendable move — a tight slap on the exploitation and monopoly of private medical college mafias in Rajasthan. For years, these institutions have burdened aspiring doctors with unjustified fees running upto 3 to 5 crore rupees per seat. If the government successfully implements this transparent and uniform fee structure across all private medical colleges, it will mark a revolutionary milestone in the history of medical education — bringing justice, affordability, and accessibility for thousands of students."

"We are aware that certain institutions may try to challenge this reform legally, but it is imperative that such progressive steps in the public interest are upheld and protected. This is a huge relief for students and their families, and a long-awaited correction to years of exploitation in the name of education," he added.
