Candidates are advised to note the following:

1) Refunds have been sent to same account / Card from where the security deposit was remitted to MCC.

2) The refund will be credited to the candidate's account between 1 to 15 days depending upon the level of automation in candidate's bank.

3) If there is in-ordinate delay in crediting the refund, candidate should take up the matter with the "Grievance Cell" of his/her bank quoting the refund reference.

4) In case of any Refund related queries please contact. Direct queries to MCC regarding Refund/ Payment will not be entertained

According to another official notice, refunds for a large number of candidates could not be processed due to technical and banking-related issues, primarily because the refund period had exceeded the permissible timeline. The information was shared with MCC by its financial custodian, which reported that multiple refund attempts had failed across various payment modes, including debit cards, credit cards, RuPay cards, net banking, and bank transfers.

To address the issue, MCC has asked the affected candidates to resubmit their bank account details through a formal process. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the attached list are required to send their updated account information in the form of a duly notarized affidavit, prepared on court stamp paper, following the format provided in the notice.

The affidavit must include personal details such as roll number, NEET application number, counselling year, and the amount of security deposit paid. Candidates must also declare that they are eligible for a refund as per the counselling rules, which allow refunds only in cases where candidates either reported to the allotted college after Round 2 or exercised the free-exit option in Round 1.

A list of mandatory supporting documents to be enclosed:

a) A copy of Aadhaar Card

b) NEET admit card

c) Details of the bank account used for payment

d) Bank account details for refund

e) A scanned copy of a cancelled cheque or bank passbook

MCC has clarified that failure to submit the required documents within the stipulated timeline may further delay the refund process.
