Haryana: Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER Haryana) has released the Procedure for admission to Nursing and Paramedical courses in government and private institutions affiliated with Pt. BD Sharma UHS Rohtak for the academic session 2022-23.

The following are the courses included –

Nursing courses -

1. BSc Nursing

2. Post Basic BSc Nursing

3. MSc Nursing

4. Nurse Practitioner Critical Care Program(NPCC)

Paramedical courses -

1. BSc Radiotherapy Technology

2. BSc Radiography & Imaging Technology

3. Bachelor of Optometry

4. BSc Perfusion Technology

5. BSc Operation Theatre

6. BSc (Medical Laboratory Technology)

Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak will conduct the online combined centralized counselling as per merit of CET-2022 conducted by Pt. B.D Sharma UHS Rohtak for admission to all the Government and Private Institutes in the State of Haryana. The list of recognized institutes, tentative seat distribution of all courses, and counselling schedule will be available on the website of university https://uhsr.ac.in; and the department website https://dmer.haryana.gov.in. The schedule of counselling, admissions, and classes start shall conform with the schedule laid down by the Indian Nursing Council/State Government/Haryana Nurses & Nurse Midwives Council.

The relative merit will be drawn as per the merit of the Common Entrance Test conducted by the University. Candidates (including in-service candidates) must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria examination (i.e. 35 % for General, 30% for SC/BC and PWBD candidates) for admission to the courses.

The choice of the course/institution exercised by the candidates on the online portal will be considered final, and no further change will be allowed. The allotment of the Institute/course shall be made strictly as per merit prepared/drawn based on qualifying examination (CET) and the choice of the Subject/Course/Institute filled up by the candidate on the online portal.

The candidates will have to appear with all original documents while reporting to the Admission Committee. Attested photocopies of certificates/documents will not be considered valid for admission.

DMER has further notified that all admissions shall be provisional subject to verification/checking of eligibility for admission as per the original documents produced at the time of reporting to the Admission Committee. The provisional allocation of the Seat/Institute online shall confer no legal right to the candidate for the said seat. The seat shall be confirmed only after the document verification as per the specific period notified.

The candidates will have to pay the following registration cum counselling fee (Non-Refundable) –

1. Rs. 1000 for Unreserved Category.

2. Rs. 750 for SC/SC-D/BC-A/& BC-B, PWBD, FF, ESM, and EWS Category candidates of Haryana.

All Private Aided/Unaided Institutes will have to deposit a processing fee for counselling of Rs. 2000 per sanctioned intake of seats one week before the start of the counselling. The fee for the seats filled during counselling shall be retained, and the balance amount will be refunded to the Institute within 6 weeks of completion of the counselling process.

3. GNM/BSc Nursing/Post Basic BSc Nursing including DMC, Registration Certificates (if applicable).

4. Certificate of good conduct/character from the institution's Principal last attended.

5. Service Certificate from the employer if applicable.

6. Resident Certificate issued by the competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).

7. Certificate of Bonafide Resident issued by the competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).

8. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).

9. Certificate of Disability issued by Competent Authority.

10. Certificate of Dependent of Freedom Fighters issued by the competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).

11. Certificate of ESM issued by the competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).

12. Income and Asset certificate for EWS Category candidates.

13. Print out of Online Application form.

14. CET Result Card.

15. As proof of identification-Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Driving Licence/ Passport/Voter ID.

NRI candidates, in addition, should bring the following documents - 

1. Equivalency Certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, if applicable.

2. Conversion Certificate of grading to the percentage of marks, if applicable.

3. Proof of NRI status in the form of a passport, OCI/PIO/letter from Ministry of External Affairs/Embassy and Bank Account Details, etc.
