WBMCC Informs On Seat Surrender Process For NEET Counselling, Details

West Bengal : The West Bengal Main Computerized Counselling (WBMCC) informed about Seat Surrender process for Candidates admitted in round 1 or round 2 and not upgraded in round 3 WB UG 2023 NEET Counseling.

In view of earlier notice passed in the counseling website dated 05.08.2023 bearing memo no. HFW-23099/229/2023/M/2007 indicating that if a candidate is admitted in round 1 or round 2 in private college and opted for up gradation, but could not upgrade till round 3 , and are unable to pay the required full fee during admission to the respective college where they are at present remaining admitted , such candidates may surrender their admitted seats by personal appearance and applying to the said college in own handwriting to release them from such seat. The seat surrender timing is 12 noon till 4 pm on 19.09.2023 as per server time in the respective college campus by personal appearance of such candidates or their authorized representative (first degree family member only).

After such release they shall get back their original documents but security deposit shall be forfeited. They are thereby out of the remaining counseling process in lieu of such seat surrender.

No candidate who is admitted in round 3 can surrender such seat as seat surrender is not applicable for round 3 admitted candidates. The surrendered seat shall appear in the seat matrix for online stray round if any college fails to generate the server generated seat surrender/ withdrawal letter, then such seat shall not be vacated and shall not appear in online seat matrix of stray round. No request for addition of such seat can be entertained later on.
