West Bengal: The West Bengal Main Computerized Counselling (WBMCC) informs about round 2 of the counselling schedule for NEET PG and NEET MDS.

As per the notice, the allotment result of the round is published on the website. Two separate lists are published, one for NEET PG and one for NEET MDS. The candidates who get upgradation in round 2 must attend a previous college, take back original documents and fees and server-generated relieving letter from the previous college and then attend a newly allotted college with required documents and fees within the admission schedule.

Suppose any candidate gets admitted in All India Quota round 2 or remains admitted in All India Quota after completion of round 2 admission. In that case, even if he finds a higher name in the allotment list of PG and MDS round 2such, a candidate cannot be allowed admission to PG and MDS round 2. Such seats shall remain not reported and will carry over to the centralized mop-up round of PG and MDS counselling in 2022.

All admission will be secured through the NIC (National Informatics Centre) server provided to the admitting colleges by the counselling committee mandatorily within the scheduled time frame of admission. Candidate must also obtain one copy of the server-generated admission/cancellation letter as applicable. Otherwise, their admission shall not be considered, and the said seat comes to subsequent rounds as a vacant seat.

Eligibility -

1. The candidates must have appeared and qualified in the NEET-PG and NEET-MDS 2022 examinations conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE).

2. The candidate must have completed MBBS/BDS from an institute recognized by MCI/DCI.

3. The candidates must have completed their internship by March 31, 2022.

Admission to State Quota, Private Management Quota and NRI Quota seats in different postgraduate medical and dental courses (MD/MS Degree, PG Diploma and MDS) in various PG Medical and Dental Colleges of West Bengal are being conducted by WBMCC based on inter se merit lists of status viz. The counselling is being held in two rounds. Therefore, a mop-up round would be organized only if any seats are left vacant after the second round of West Bengal NEET PG 2022 counselling.
