Tamil Nadu: Siddha Medical College Students on strike demanding Campus Relocation

Tamil Nadu- On Monday, the students of Government Siddha Medical College in Palayamkottai, Tamil Nadu, went on a strike, urging the government to relocate the college and hospital to a more suitable location. Wearing black badges on the dharna, the students have stated that they will continue the strike for at least a week.
The strike took place after the government allocated ₹40 crore for constructing new buildings for the college and the hospital lay unused.
