MUHS Extends deadline for Research Grant Applications, details

Maharashtra: Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has extended the last date for online submission of research grant applications.

The last date of submission of these applications has been extended up to 05th of February 2024. Previously the last date for the submission of applications from the desirous Students and Teachers of all affiliated Colleges to the University for the Research Grants for the Academic Year 2023-24 was 24th January 2024.

Applications in the prescribed format, complete in all respects, should be submitted to the University through the proper channel, i.e., through the Dean/ Principal of the College/ Institute, by online portal only. The link to the portal is enclosed in the notice below.

The applicant should submit their Research proposal, which is approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC).

The process to download the application –

1. Select ‘URD Services’ >> ‘URG Grant’ >> ‘Application for Grants’ from the Menu Pane from the left side of the screen.

2. In ’Application for Grants’ select the type of grant from the ‘Notification’ Dropdown.

3. On selection of the ‘Short Term Research Grant’, the student list will appear. And on the selection of ‘Long Term Research Grant’ / ‘IMR’, the teacher's list will appear.

4. Select the candidate for whom you want to submit the application by clicking on the checkbox in front of his / her name. Then click on the ‘Apply Now’ Button.

5. Now Application Form will open. Data from all the tabs of the application form, such as Applicant Details, Research Proposal, and Other Documents need to be filled cautiously.

6. On click of the ‘Save & Next’ button the data filled in the current tab will get saved as a draft.

7. Download the given formats in the ‘Other Documents’ tab to prepare and upload yours’.

8. The checklist is to ensure that all the necessary documents are uploaded before final submission.

9. Click on the ‘Final Save’ button to final submit the form. Once the final submission is done, the form cannot be modified at all. Hence, make sure that all the data is modified/updated before clicking on the ‘Done’ button. The status of the application will now be changed from Draft to’ Under processing at college’.

10. This is not the final stage of submission. Users need to use the ‘Forward to University’ menu to submit the applications to the university online.

11. To do that, select the ‘Forward to University’ menu from the Menu Pane. Select the application from the grid and click on the ‘Verify’ button.

12. Enter essential details like ‘Out Number’, ‘Out Date’, ‘Remark’ etc., and click on the ‘Save’ button.

13. Now the application`s status will change to ‘Sent to University for Processing’. You may view it in ‘Processed’ status.

All the Deans/Principals/Directors of affiliated colleges and institutes are requested to give wide publicity to this announcement and encourage eligible students and Teachers to participate actively.
