PG Medical Admissions: KNRUHS informs on Free Exit of Candidates Admitted Under Authority Quota 2020-21

Hyderabad: Through a recent notice, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, (KNRUHS) has informed about the free exit of candidates admitted under competent authority quota for PG medical admissions 2020.

All the Candidates admitted under Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2020-21 into Post Graduate Medical and MDS Courses are hereby informed that they have a choice of free exit to discontinue from the course in to which they are admitted before 3 Pm on 23-07-2020 without any penalty. However, candidates are informed that they will not be eligible for Mop-up round of Competent Authority Quota once they discontinue the course.

Candidates are informed that if they discontinue the course after 3.00 PM on 23-07-2020 onwards penalty clause will be applicable with payment of tuition fee for the entire course, Rs.5,00,000/- ( Rupees Five Lakhs Only ) of Bond amount and debarred from admission into KNRUHS for 3-years.

All the Principals of Medical and Dental Colleges are hereby informed that they can relieve any candidate who wants to discontinue from the course from Competent Authority Quota admission for 2020-21 on written application from the candidate up to 3.00 PM on 23-07-2020. They are also informed to return the Original Certificates, Bonds and Tuition fee without any penalty.

Accordingly, all the Principals of Medical and Dental Colleges are hereby informed that they have to upload the details of any such discontinued candidates to the Help-line center, OU on-line web-site by 4.00 P.M. on 23-07-2020 without fail.

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences was established after the formation of State of Telangana by adopting the Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences Act vide G.O.M s No. 20 HM&FW (Cl) Department Dated: 26.09.2014 with headquarters at Warangal. Dr B.Karunakar Reddy was appointed as first vice - Chancellor vide G.O.Ms No. 99 HM&FW Dept. (Cl) Dated: 26.11.2015.

Under the able-guidance of Hon'ble Health Minister Sri Ch.Laxma Reddy garu and Special Chief Secretary Sri Rajeshwar Tiwari l.A.S. garu, all necessary approvals have been obtained from the Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, Central Council for Indian Medicine, Central Council of Homeopathy and Indian Nursing Council University of Health Sciences started functioning from the academic year 2016-17 from a small renovated block in the Kakatiya Medical College campus. All colleges which were affiliated to Dr.NTR UHS were dis-affiliated and affiliated to KNRUHS from 01.06.2016 vide G.0.Ms No. 05 HM&FW Dept. (Cl) Dept Dated: 09.02.2016.

KNR University of Health Sciences is functioning as an affiliating University offering Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Super Specialty, Doctoral and Post Doctoral Courses in the following branches of Health Sciences.

1. Allopathy ( Modern Medicine )

2. Dental Surgery

3. Homeopathy

4. Indian Systems of Medicine:- Ayurvedha, Naturopathy and Unani

5. Para Medical Courses:- Nursing, Medical Lab Technology and Physiotherapy
