NBE declares DNB final theory June 2026 results, practical exams from September 8
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the result of the DNB Final Theory Examination June 2026 session.
The result was announced on August 24, 2026, while the Board has also released a tentative schedule for the practical examinations, which are set to begin from September 8, 2026.
The DNB Final Theory Examinations for the June 2026 session were conducted on a hybrid platform from June 18 to June 21, 2026, across the country.
Through the notice issued by the NBEMS, in this regard, the board has stated that paper-wise marks and the grand total of marks obtained shall be published in a scorecard, which will be available for download to bona fide candidates through “candidate login” under the application link shortly. The same can be seen on the NBEMS website.
The scorecard will also be accessible through the official NBEMS website.
Candidates who have not qualified the DNB Final Theory Examination can seek web links to access the digital copies of their answer scripts.
For this, candidates will have to pay Rs 100 per question paper plus 18% GST. Requests must be submitted only through the NBEMS Miscellaneous Fee Payment Online Portal.
The last date to request digital answer scripts is August 31, 2026, which is within seven calendar days of the declaration of the theory result. Requests received after the prescribed deadline will not be entertained.
“Candidates who have failed to qualify the DNB Final Theory Examination can seek weblinks to access the digital copies of their answer scripts by paying Rs. 100/- (plus GST@18%) per question paper. Request for providing the same can be made only through the Miscellaneous Fee Payment Online Portal of NBEMS, within 7 calendar days of declaration of theory result, i.e by 31.08.2026. Requests received after the prescribed window shall not be entertained”, the notice stated.
NBEMS has clarified that there is no general provision for re-evaluation. However, in the rare event that an answer has been wrongly marked as “Not Attempted” by the assessor, a candidate can request re-evaluation of that unassessed answer.
Such requests must be submitted through the Miscellaneous Fee Payment Online Portal by September 3, 2026, within 10 calendar days of the result declaration.
An administrative fee of Rs 500 per paper will be charged for the re-evaluation request.
“There shall be a provision for re-evaluation of unassessed answer(s) only, in the rare event of an answer(s) being wrongly marked as NOT ATTEMPTED by the assessor. Request for re-evaluation of unassessed answer(s) can be made ONLY through the Miscellaneous Fee Payment Online Portal of NBEMS within 10 calendar days of the declaration of theory result, i.e by 03.09.2026. An administrative fee of Rs. 500/- per paper shall be charged for the same, which can be paid online through the NBEMS website. Requests received after the prescribed window shall not be entertained”, the board further added.
NBEMS has also published the tentative schedule for the DNB Final Practical Examination June 2026.

However, NBEMS has clarified that the above schedule is purely tentative. The final schedule shall be indicated in the admit cards.
The date, time and venue of the practical examination shall be intimated to all candidates (who have qualified the theory examinations) through their Online Exit Examination Portal (OEEP) account.
NBEMS has also stated that it does not send communication through emails/ post regarding allotment of Practical Examination Centre. Candidates are advised to check the NBEMS official website for the exact schedule and details of the practical examination centre notified.
The concerned candidates will be able to download their admit cards from their Online Exit Examination Portal (OEEP) account as and when DNB Final Practical centres are notified and admit cards are uploaded on OEEP.
