New Delhi- Through an official notice, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened the Online Portal for submission of Joining report and self-appraisal form or registration as NBE FNB Fellowship trainee 2024 admission session.
According to the notice, all candidates admitted to NBEMS-accredited hospitals must update their joining status on the Online Portal for Joining and Registration (OPJR) portal. The process involves completion of joining formalities, submission of the Joining Report by the respective hospital, submission of the Self-Appraisal Form by the trainee, and subsequent verification by the hospital authorities.
NBE has also clarified that the self-appraisal process is designed to assess the eligibility of trainees for official registration in accordance with the criteria outlined in the relevant information bulletin. Hospitals have been directed to verify all details and original documents carefully, as any falsified or fabricated records will attract disciplinary action under the accreditation agreement.
Upon successful submission and verification, trainees will receive a “Letter of Provisional Registration” from NBEMS. The OPJR portal will be live from October 13, 2025, and the deadlines are as follows-
SCHEDULE

NBEMS also emphasised that trainees must join their respective training programmes within the reporting window of the allotted counselling round. No extension in the joining date will be permitted without explicit approval from the board. For candidates employed under government organisations, the date of joining will be considered the actual date of assumption of duty after relieving from their parent organisation.
The notice further cautioned that all information provided in the self-appraisal form must be accurate and authentic. Any discrepancy or misrepresentation may lead to termination of candidature. The provisional registration does not automatically confer the right to appear in the final exit examination or obtain the NBEMS degree/diploma until all verifications are complete.
