New Delhi: Two weeks post the conduction of the prestigious MBBS entrance exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Advanced answer keys for candidates who appeared for NEET 2020 this year along with activating the challenge facility.

The NEET 2020 was conducted throughout the country on 13 September 2020. National Testing Agency has recently the Advance Answer Keys for candidates for all the sets (E1- E6, F1- F6, G1-G6, H1-H6) for their information.

The candidates are advised to go through the same and keep themselves ready for challenges of the Draft Answer Keys which will be published shortly.

The procedure (as enclosed) for the challenge of the Answer Key may be used. This facility is available from 27.09.2020 (2.00 PM) to 29.09.2020 (2.00 PM). The Candidates are required to pay online a sum of Rs. 1000/- (one thousand only) as processing fee for each question challenged.

The payment of the processing fee may be made through Debit/Credit Card/ Net Banking up to 11.50 PM of 29.09.2020. The processing fee will be refunded if the challenge is found correct. No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee.

Challenges received by post/ email will not be entertained. Therefore, kindly do not post/email your responses or clarification regarding the Answer Keys and please follow the above mentioned process only for raising the key challenges. The candidates are also advised to keep visiting ntaneet.nic.in and www.nta.ac.in for the latest updates.

Procedure for Challenge of Answer Key

1. Please go to website https://ntaneet.nic.in/ntaneet/welcome.aspx
2. Login with your Application Number and Password and Submit.
3. Click 'Apply for KEY Challenge'.
4. Select the Test Booklet Code
5. You will see 180 Questions (Physics/Chemistry/Biology (Botany & Zoology). They are in sequential order.
6. Select Question(s) to be challenged.
7. The number next to the question under the column 'Answer as per NTA stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA.
8. Once you select any question for Challenge, you will see four options under the column 'Suggested Answer(s) by the Candidate'.
9. If you wish to challenge, you may use anyone or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box. ✓
10. After clicking your desired option for all Questions you want to challenge, scroll down, 'Submit' and move to next screen.
11. You will find a screen displaying your challenges.
12. Click on 'Final Submit'.
13. Kindly pay the processing fee.
14. In the next screen, click on 'Go for Payment".
15. Select Mode of Payment and Pay your processing fee @ Rs.1,000/- for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.
16. After successful payment download/print the key challenge receipt.
17. In case your challenge is found correct, your processing fee will be refunded in the same account.

In view of the hardships faced by the aspirants of NEET 2020 in making corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Form due to COVID- 19 epidemic, the National Testing Agency (NTA) had once again provided the correction facility to the concerned candidates.

The National Testing Agency again provided the facility for making corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Form in the following fields only :

• Mother's Name

• Father's Name

• Gender • Category

• Person with Disability

• State Code of Eligibility

• Nationality

To all the candidates of NEET 2020, the NTA has stated that this facility for correction in the particulars in the Online Application Form is made operational on the website https://ntaneet.nic.in from 23/09/2020 to 30/09/2020*. The candidates are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars and make necessary corrections, if and wherever required in the above fields only.

'*' Correction in the particulars in the Online Application Forms shall be accepted upto 05.00 PM and submission of fee (if applicable) up to 11.50 PM.

In case, any additional fee payment becomes due because of the type of changes made, the requisite (additional) fee, if applicable, can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net banking/UPI and PAYTM. The final changes/update in the online application form will be reflected only after the payment, in such cases.

No change in the application form will be accepted through Fax/Application, including e-mail, etc. The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as it is the last chance of correction provided to the candidates. The candidates may also note that the e-mails sent by them earlier for correction may/may not have been accounted for in their Application Form. Hence, they are requested to verify their Application Form very carefully and themselves as it is the last chance of correction being provided to the candidates.

NEET 2020 was recently held on 13.09.2020 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. Nearly 90 percent candidates appeared in the medical entrance exam NEET held at over 3,800 centres across the country on Sunday amid strict precautions in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. Students were allotted different slots for staggered movement to ensure social distancing. As many as 15.97 lakh candidates had registered for NEET, which was earlier postponed twice in view of the pandemic.

The test was offered in 11 languages - English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu this year. Based on the initial report, more than 77 percent aspirants took the test in English, around 12 percent in Hindi, and 11 percent in other languages.
