NEET PG 2020 Mop-Up Round Counselling: MCC Releases List Of 195 Eligible NRI Candidates

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the list of all eligible candidates, who had applied for conversion of category from Indian to NRI to participate in the NEET PG Mop-up round counselling 2020.

As per the list, there are a total of 195 candidates eligible for the mop-up round 2020 Counselling. These candidates have successfully fulfilled the stipulated criteria for conversion and have submitted sufficient documents such as embassy letter, passport copy, sponsor letter etc as asked by the counselling authority.

Indian to NRI eligible candidates list for MOP-UP PG 

a) 50% All India Quota seats of all states except J&K.

b) 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions mentioned in Important Questions related to Scheme of Counselling duly uploaded on MCC website.

c) 100% seats of Deemed Universities.

d) 50% AIQ P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons).

e) All P.G seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions(only Registration part).

f) Central Institutes, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS & RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur(50% All India Quota seats, and 50% seats of I.P University).

MCC had earlier informed about the change of category of All India Quota seats after being reverted to State Quota subsequent to completion of Round-2 of PG Counselling.

The committee had been receiving many representations regarding the same and hence issuing a clarification in this regard, the MCC has now stated that once the PG Medical seats are reverted back to the respective states they are deemed to be converted to State Quota and rules/ regulations/ reservation of the concerned state will apply.
