NMC reopens portal for eligibility certificates applications, check details

New Delhi: Through a public notice, the Ethics and Medical Registration Board (EMRB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced an additional opportunity for candidates seeking the Eligibility Certificate.

This comes following multiple representations from applicants who were unable to submit their forms due to technical issues during the earlier window that closed on September 30, 2025.

Therefore, as per the public notice issued by NMC, the online application portal is reopened on the official website, allowing fresh submissions between October 13, 2025, 10:00 AM and October 24, 2025, 6:00 PM.

"The candidates desirous of seeking Eligibility Certificates from EMRB, NMC may please refer to the previous public notice dated 26/08/2025 on the subject mentioned above wherein candidates were given opportunity to apply for the Eligibility Certificate till 30/09/2025. The Registration, EMRB has received representations from some candidates that due to technical issues, they were not able to submit their applications within the above time frame. Keeping in view the career prospects of the applicants, it has been decided by the EMRB, NMC to give an additional opportunity to the candidates who were not able to submit their applications earlier for issuance of the Eligibility Certificate. Accordingly, the applications may be submitted through the National Medical Commission’s Website as per the schedule given," the NMC stated.

The NMC has also cautioned that incomplete applications in any form will not be processed and will be summarily rejected. Once the deadline passes, the portal will be closed and no further applications will be accepted.

"It is advised that the candidates may not wait for the last date to apply and should submit their applications as early as possible. It may also be noted that the issuance of an Eligibility Certificate involves multiple checks to ascertain eligibility in accordance with the provisions of the regulations in vogue. The candidates should fill the application form scrupulously in order to avoid unnecessary to & fro movement of the application to resolve the deficiencies," the notice read.
