New Delhi: Making the aspiring candidates of NEET 2021 and the parents aware of a certain notice making round on the social media the National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared it as a "fake". NTA has further advised the candidates and parents to wait patiently for the official launch of the Information Bulletin for the medical entrance examination.

NTA has also asked the aspiring NEET 2021 candidates to follow the official website of NTA and NEET (UG) for further information. Although the clarification from the agency comes on Twitter, any official statement is yet to be released regarding the matter.

The notice in question contains the syllabus for the test and the pattern of the NEET (UG) 2021. The document released on social media claimed, "NTA has decided to provide for choice in the question paper and thus there will be two sections in each paper. Section-B will contain 10 questions out of which a Candidate can choose to attempt any 5."

Sharing the document on Twitter, one user wrote on March 20, "If this information regarding #NEET2021 exam pattern is true then how it's circulating through social media before releasing at official site. No credibility of @DG_NTA has left @PIBFactCheck."

However, replying to the tweet, NTA on their Twitter handle clarified immediately, "It's fake. Candidates and parents are advised to wait for the official launch of the Application Form and Information Bulletin on the official website of NTA and NEET (UG)."

The Twitter handle of PIB Fact Check has also paid heed to the matter, It wrote, "#FakeAlert- Several posts claiming that @DG_NTA has released the exam pattern of #NEET2021 are doing the rounds on social media. #PIBFactCheck: This exam pattern is #Fake & not released by NTA. For updates, visit the NTA's official website: https://nta.ac.in."

Medical Dialogues had recently reported that the National Testing Agency (NTA) had announced that the gateway to medical admission, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2021 (NEET 2021), would be held on August 1, this year.

NTA, operative under the Ministry of Education, The government of India, through the latest official notification, informed that the NEET (UG) 2021 would be conducted in 11 languages, through Pen & Paper mode on 01 August 2021 (Sunday).
