AIIMS Delhi Announces Schedule For Online Seat Allocation For MSc Nursing 2022, 165 Seats available, details

New Delhi: 165 seats are available for the MSc Nursing course 2022 session's 1st Round of online seat allocation, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) announced this through a written notice. The schedule for the same has also been released.

The detailed schedule –

Pre-Seat Allocation –

Exercising of Choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality) - 03.09.2022, 11.00 am to 06.09.2022 up to 5.00 pm

1st Round of Online Seat Allocation –

1. Announcement of seat allocation of 1st Round - 8.09.2022

2. Online Acceptance of allocated seat - 9.09.2022, 11.00 am to 12.09.2022 up to 05.00 pm

3. Reporting & Submission of Documents/Security Deposit - 9.09.2022, 11.00 am to 12.09.2022 up to 5.00 pm

2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation –

1. Declaration of vacant seat position after the completion of 1st Round - 14.09.2022

2. Announcement of seat allocation of 2nd Round - 15.09.2022

3. Online Acceptance of allocated seat - 16.09.2022, 11.00 am to 19.09.2022 up to 05.00 pm

4. Reporting & Submission of Documents/Security Deposit - 16.09.2022, 11.00 am to 19.09.2022 up to 05.00 pm

The link for the portal will be activated for eligible candidates on "MyPage", accessible by logging in using the credentials that have been used for filling the Final Registration form and other processes related to MSc Nursing Entrance Examination for 2022 session in www.aiimsexams.ac.in.

Candidates note that there will not be any fee for Online Seat Allocation (AIIMS & subject/speciality) Process in this session. Document verification will not be done during the online seat allocation process. However, the eligibility status of the OBC(NCL)/EWS category candidate will be sent to their registered Email ID before the result declaration.

Eligibility –

1. All the candidates listed in the Result Notification No.129/2022 dated 20.07.2022 will be eligible to participate in the 1st Round of the Online Seat Allocation.

2. Participation is subject to information & rules prescribed in the said result notification regarding eligibility.

The process to be followed by the candidates –

The eligible candidates must log in to their MyPage for M. Sc Nursing Online Seat Allocation. The link for the portal will be activated for eligible candidates in the MyPage accessible by clicking the Online Seat Allocation link; after logging in, the eligible candidates will be directed to the Online Seat Allocation portal, where the candidates will have to Register online seat allocation and set a new password. This password is required to access the Online Seat Allocation portal.

The MSc Nursing Online Seat Allocation portal will allow candidates to make choices of seats (a combination of AIIMS and subject/speciality) and arrange them in the desired order. The candidates can make any number of choices and edit and reorder the choices within the date and time specified in the Important Dates link in the portal.

The portal will be opened for dates specified in the Important Dates link in the portal. The choices made by the candidate will be locked either by the candidate OR automatically on the last Date and Time specified in the Important Dates link in the portal.

The seat allocation will be done in order of merit and according to choices made by the candidates as described in point no 2. The order of seat allocation will be UR/ST/SC/OBC/EWS as per the prospectus. When a reserved candidate in the combined merit list is allocated a seat, a higher preference seat, if available in the reserved category, will automatically be allocated. Suppose a subject is allocated as per choice by such a candidate and is simultaneously available both in the unreserved and reserved category at the time of allocation of their rank. In that case, the unreserved seat will be allocated. The allocation of seats in the reserved category will be done only after the allocation of seats in the unreserved category.

The seat allocation in the 1st Round will be done as per the schedule specified in the Important Dates link.

All the candidates who have been allocated seats in the 1st Round are required to log in to their MyPage and actively choose one of the following options within the date and time specified in the Important Dates link -

Option 1. ACCEPT allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation

Option 2. ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation

Suppose the candidates choose option 2 and participate in the next Round and are allocated another seat as per their choice in the next Round. In that case, they will have to join the seat allocated during the next Round and vacate the previously allocated seat. The vacated seat shall be automatically allocated to other candidates in order of merit. Failure to join the upgraded seat in the next Round of seat allocation shall lead to impositions of the penalty of Rs. 1.00 Lakh if you do not join the upgraded seat.

Options to REFUSE the allocated seats are NOT available. Therefore, the candidates are requested to fill the choices carefully and responsibly in the choice-filling stage. Candidates themselves shall be responsible for their choices.

Failure to log in and select an option after seat allocation within the date and time specified in the Important Dates link will lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat and render you ineligible for 2nd Round.

All the candidates who are allocated seats are mandatorily required (irrespective of whether they choose Option 1 and 2 as mentioned in point no. 6) to report in-person (for reporting and/or joining), to allocated AIIMS for reporting and joining within the date and times specified in the Important Dates link. In addition, the candidates are required to deposit original certificates/Demand Draft of Rs. 1.00 Lakh as specified in the result notification of the seat allocation of the 1st Round of online seat allocation at the time of reporting.

Candidates availing constitutional reservation in the 1st Round must show valid proof of their claim for a reserved seat at allocated AIIMS when depositing original certificates/Demand Draft of Rupees 1.00 Lakhs. In case they do not possess a valid certificate. Their claim for the reserved seat allocated in the 1st Round will be nullified. They will be eligible to appear in the 2nd Round as UR candidates subject to cut-off in the UR merit list, provided they deposit the original certificates/Demand Draft at the allocated AIIMS. The OBC/EWS certificate must be valid for admission to Central Govt. Institution.


Candidates availing PWBD horizontal reservation in the 1st Round must show valid proof of their claim for a reserved seat at allocated AIIMS when depositing original certificates/Demand Draft of Rupees 1.00 Lakhs. In case they do not possess a valid certificate. Their claim for the reserved seat allocated in the 1st Round will be nullified. They will be eligible to appear in the 2nd Round as UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS candidates in their respective category as applicable without PWBD reservation, provided they have deposited the original certificates/Demand Draft at the allocated AIIMS & is subject to cut off in respective category.

The 2nd Round will be initiated after the completion of the 1st Round. Exercising of Choices will not be opened for the 2nd Round of Seat allocation, and Choices selected in the choice filling Round will be considered for the 2nd Round.

The choice filling process –

1. The choices can only be made after the candidates have logged in using the login credentials. On logging in, confirm their name and Registration ID. Then, click on the Make Choice button to proceed to exercise choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality) and their order.

2. To add a choice, choose the AIIMS and the subject/speciality from the two separate drop-down menus and Click Add choice.

3. To remove a choice, click the Delete button against that Choice (AIIMS and subject/speciality).

4. Click on the Save button to save the choices of AIIMS and subject/speciality and their order.

5. The default order of choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality) will be the order in which the candidates have added choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality).

6. To reorder the choices, use up and down arrows OR Drag and Drop the choice (AIIMS and subject/speciality) to the appropriate position in the list.

7. Candidates can make choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality), edit or reorder them as many times they wish UNLESS they have already submitted and locked the choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality) OR last date and time. The candidate must save the choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality) in case they wish to add/delete/reorder them later (before the last date and time).

8. The candidate should click on the Submit and Lock Choices tab, tick the checkbox I accept the declaration, and click on the submit and Lock choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality). The candidates will be prompted twice to reconsider, and after you have submitted and locked your choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality), you cannot change it for any Round.

9. If the candidate has made and saved choices but could not submit and Lock choices, the last saved choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality) and their order will be automatically considered as submitted and locked choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality).

10. The candidate can view the choices submitted and locked by them by clicking on the View choices button after logging in to the online MSc Nursing Seat allocation portal. Click the Print button to take a printout.

Exercising of Choices is a one-time exercise before the Seat allocation of 1st Round; after that, the same filled choices will be considered for all subsequent rounds.
