New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released a revised schedule for the online seat allocation process for admission to the MSc Nursing programme for the August 2026 session.

The revised timetable has been released through an important notice, revising the dates for seat allocation, online acceptance, and reporting to allotted institutes.

The revised schedule has been issued in continuation of the earlier notice regarding the counselling process for MSc Nursing admissions. AIIMS has advised candidates to take note of the updated dates and complete all admission-related formalities within the stipulated timeline.

As per the revised schedule, candidates allotted seats in the first round will be required to accept their allotted seat online between July 30 and August 7, 2026. During the same period, they must also report to their allotted institute and submit the required documents along with the prescribed security deposit. Reporting will be carried out from Monday to Friday up to 4:00 PM and on Saturdays up to 12:00 noon.

However, the choice-filling process, which was conducted from July 14 to July 18, 2026, has already been completed. The first round of online seat allocation will be announced on July 25, 2026.

According to the notification, the vacant seat position after completion of the first round and the second-round seat allocation result will both be published on August 12, 2026.

Candidates allotted seats in the second round will have to complete online acceptance and reporting/document verification between August 17 and August 22, 2026, following the same reporting timings prescribed for the first round.

The institute has clarified that fresh exercising of choices will not be permitted for the second round. Instead, the choices submitted by candidates during the first round will automatically be considered while preparing the second-round seat allocation.

AIIMS further informed that the counselling portal will be activated on candidates' "MyPage" using the login credentials created during the final registration process for the M.Sc. Nursing entrance examination.
