Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has extended the online application submission date and fee for admission to BSc Nursing course. The candidates have been given an extension till 5th July 2022.

Candidates must apply online to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, through the website www.bfuhs.ac.in for admission in the above course.

The candidates whose 10+2 result is not declared yet can also apply for the time being by filling zero in the marks obtained in the subjects of the 10+2 examination. The 10+2 result of the Punjab School Examination Board is declared. Therefore, the candidates will update their online application form by filling the marks obtained column in their respective subjects & uploading the 10+2 result/marks sheet by logging into their registration ID.

BSc Nursing is a four-year course which requires at least 45% in Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology ) of 10+2, and English as a compulsory subject. The candidates should have completed 17 years before the end of the year.

Admission is given based on the Punjab Para Medical entrance test (PPMET), followed by physical counselling once a year. For admission, the candidates will have to undergo an entrance exam which is scheduled for 10th July, 2022. The prospectus will be published on the official website. The counselling schedule is yet to be announced, and the same candidates can keep track of the official website.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
