DME Uttrakhand Invites Applications For Increasing Seat intake in nursing colleges, details

Uttrakhand: The Director of Medical Education (DME Uttrakhand) has invited applications to increase seats in nursing colleges across the state.

Both government and private nursing colleges can apply. The application has to be submitted to the Authority. The month-wise schedule has been announced.

For the month of April and May, the colleges can get the application form till 15th April 2023 for April and 15th May 2023 for May. The colleges will have to pay a DD of Rs 1000 to collect the application form; while submitting the application form, the colleges will have to pay a DD of Rs 25000.

On 17th June 2022, a committee was formed to inspect the colleges. The inspection committee will review the colleges for grant of permission. All the applications will be reviewed for those received in April, July, and August. During these 2 months, DME will present the proposal to include the colleges. Until September, the applications will be presented to the empowered committee, and the documents required for proof will be finalized.

Further, DME has intimated that the required certificates fixed will be applicable from next year. The rules and regulations issued by DME and INC New Delhi will be followed. All the changes issued from time to time will be taken into account.
