NEET paper leak claims on Telegram, WhatsApp FAKE, Do not fall for scams: NTA
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a public advisory warning students not to trust or fall prey to fake claims about leaked NEET question papers circulating on social media platforms such as Telegram and WhatsApp.
The agency, in a post on its official handle on X, cautioned aspirants to “beware of fraudsters” spreading rumours about access to NEET papers. It urged candidates not to fall prey to such scams and to rely only on updates shared through the official NTA website and its verified social media accounts.
NTA further stated that strict legal action is being taken against those involved in spreading misinformation and that such fraudulent channels are being actively blocked.

Meanwhile, the advisory drew reactions from users online. One such user reacting to the agency's post questioned how such claims surface every year, asking how "confidential documents are getting leaked" and whether there is adequate security at printing presses. The user also questioned the agency for the lack of quick action against such rackets.
"Then please tell how your Confidential documents are getting leaked in Telegram and WhatsApp & they are claiming that they have papers, how? They are getting paper from a printing press. Why is there no adequate security and scrutiny? This racket is going every year still, why NO Quick action?" said the user.
Responding to the concern, NTA clarified that the claims being circulated are “fake” and are being spread by scamsters. The agency reiterated that action is already being taken against those responsible and advised students not to engage with such content and focus on their preparation for the exam.
Medical Dialogues recently reported that the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to soon release the admit card for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) examination for the academic year 2026-27. This admit card will be released on the official website of the NTA likely in the last week of April 2026.
