IP University Announces Round 1 Counselling Schedule for Post Basic BSc Nursing Admissions 2024-25, details

New Delhi- Through the notice, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has released the schedule for 1st counselling/admission to Post Basic BSc Nursing for 2024-25.

As per the notice, all CET-qualified candidates, whose names have appeared in the merit list of the Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing programme prepared based on CET 2024, shall report in person for the 1st counselling for 'verification of documents' and 'allotment of seats' at GGSIPU on June 26, 2024 at 1:00 PM as per their category and rank. The last Date of withdrawal is 02 July 2024 from the Post Basic Nursing Programme.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR POST-BASIC BSC NURSING

1 The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

2 Pass in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

3 The candidate should have undergone General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) in an institution which is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.

4 Candidate should be medically fit.

FEE

A Bank Draft of Rs.97000/- (Rs.96,000/- for seat acceptance/partial academic fee and Rs.1000/- for counselling participation fee (non-refundable)) in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University payable at Delhi is required at the time of counselling. The candidate shall write his/her name, date of admission, phone number, address, mobile number, name of the programme, CET rank and CET roll number on the back of the bank draft. The remaining fee (if applicable) will be paid by the candidate at the allotted institute.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR VERIFICATION AND ALLOTMENT OF SEATS (ALONG WITH A SET OF PHOTOCOPIES)

1 Four passport-sized photographs.

2 CET Rank Card/Merit Order of CET-2024 (copy).

3 CET-2024 Admit Card (in original) 2024.

4 Filled Admission verification form as per Appendix 6 of Part F of Admission Brochure 2024-25.

5 Filled Preference sheet as per Appendix 11A of Part F of Admission Brochure 2024-25.

6 Proof of date of birth (Secondary School Mark-sheet & Certificate) (Original and photocopy).

7 The candidate will be required to bring the Original certificates/mark sheets of aII the year-wise or semester-wise in original along with a photocopy of the Certificates/mark sheets of the qualifying examination.

8 In the case of students who have passed the qualifying examination through distance / open the education system of any recognized University / Board / Institution, the necessary documentary evidence related to the location of his / her study centre i.e. study centre proof, a certificate from the University imparting open / distance education certifying the location of the study centre to be submitted.

9 All the students shall be required to submit a Medical Certificate indicating fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

10 The candidates seeking admission under reserved categories, must have to mandatorily bring the entitled supporting certificate in his/her name.

In case the candidate is claiming the seat reserved for the DSC/DST/DOBC category then He/ She should have passed his/ her qualifying exam from Delhi School/College and must have an SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi only.

It will also be the sole responsibility of the candidates themselves to make sure that they are eligible and fulfil all the conditions prescribed for admission. Before filling up the verification slip at the time of verification of documents/counselling/allotment of seats, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils all eligibility conditions as laid down in the respective Admission Brochure for the session 2024-25. If it is found at any stage during the entire period of the programme that the candidate does not fulfil the requisite eligibility conditions, his/her admission will be cancelled and also disciplinary action will be initiated against him/her and the entire fee will also be forfeited, the notice added.
