TN Nursing admissions 2025: Check out round 2 schedule, vacancy position
Tamil Nadu- The Tamil Nadu (TN Health) has released a tentative online counselling schedule for the Post Basic BSc Nursing Course for the 2025-26 session. Along with this, the round 2 online counselling schedule for the Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery for the 2025-26 session has also been released.
As per the tentative online counselling schedule for the Post Basic BSc Nursing Course 2025-26, the Registration/ Payment Choice filling & Locking process is going to end on 20th September 2025. Below is the complete schedule-

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POST-BASIC BSc NURSING COURSE
1 Candidates who are participating in the online counselling for Post Basic BSc Nursing Course will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs 250/- through online as a processing fee, via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
2 Seat Matrix for the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Course will be available on the official websites.
3 Admission to Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Course shall be made by online counselling on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIPLOMA IN GENERAL NURSING & MIDWIFERY
1 The candidates who are willing to retain their seat, which was allotted in the 1st phase of online counselling, need not participate in this online counselling.
2 The Candidates who were not allotted in the 1st Round of Counselling and those who did not participate in the 1st round of counselling are eligible to attend this counselling.
3 The candidates who have already registered for the first phase of online counselling and paid Rs 250/- as Registration fee need not pay again. But those who register for the 1st time should pay Rs 250/- as registration fees.
5 Admission to Diploma in Nursing courses shall be made by online counselling on the basis of rank, by applying the rule of reservation.
6 The procedures for the online counselling will be published on the official website.
IMPORTANT POINTS
1 Candidates should be careful while choice filling.
2 The selection committee does not take responsibility for Connectivity errors.
3 If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and/or admission will be cancelled without any further notice.
4 The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges, along with a scanned copy of their original certificates to the concerned Colleges.
5 The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time.
6 The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of reporting to the concerned College. He/she is liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts, mis-interpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
7 Once the candidate locks his/her choice during the online counselling, it cannot be changed later. Request for change of Branch /College, from one to another, is not permitted after an option has been exercised.
