NIMS Invites Application For BSc Paramedical Allied Health Sciences Courses 2022, Check out admission details

Telangana: Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) has invited applications for admission into the Bachelor of Science Degree Course in Paramedical Allied Health Sciences for 2022.

As per the notification, candidates can apply till 1st August 2022, 5:00 pm. The online application registration, notification and instructions to fill the application are available at NIMS website www.nims.edu.in. The candidates will have to pay Rs 700 as an application fee through a payment gateway provided using a credit card or a debit card issued by the banks in India or through internet banking. The application fee is not refundable even if the application is summarily rejected.

The duly signed hard copy of the online application of the candidate shall be submitted to The Associate Dean, Academic-2, 2nd floor, Old OPD Block, Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad 500082 on or before 4th August 2022, 5:00 pm, along with all the documents mentioned in the annexure-I. Annexure –I is enclosed in the notice below.

An acknowledgment will be sent to the respective candidate by SMS / e-mail or to the login account after receipt of the hard copy of the application. The appointing authority should forward the applications of in-service candidates.

On 12th October 2022, hall tickets will be issued through the candidate's login. The entrance exam is scheduled for 16th October 2022, and on 18th October 2022, provisional results will be declared. The deadline for re-counting of OMR sheets is 19th October 2022. On 22nd October 2022, a merit list of eligible candidates will be displayed on the website.

Display of eligible candidates list for 1st phase of counselling will also be done on 22nd October 2022. Issue of counselling letters of eligible candidates through login account for 1st phase of counselling will be done on 27th October 2022. Counselling letters must be downloaded from NIMS website while login in with the candidate's registration number and password.

On 31st October 2022, 1st phase of counselling will happen. The date of admission, payment of fee and submission of original certificates and bond will be announced in due course of time. From 7th November 2022, the classes will commence. The admissions will close on 31st December 2022.

100 seats are available for the Bachelor of Science Degree Course in Paramedical Allied Health Sciences for the year 2022.

The candidates for admission into the course shall have passed 2 years of Intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Science Subjects (Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry) from the Board of Intermediate Education or any other recognized Board like CBSE/ ICSE/ TOSS or other equivalent Board. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years completed and not be more than 25 years as on 31st December 2022.

The duration of the courses will be 4 years, including a one-year compulsory Internship (stipend will be paid during the Internship period as per NIMS rules).

The candidates recommended for provisional admission must pay an amount of Rs.25000 towards counselling fee immediately. This amount will be adjusted against the prescribed fee to be paid, with the remaining balance collected at the time of admission. The counselling fee will be refunded to the candidates found to be 'medically unfit' at the time of admission after deducting the medical examination fee of Rs.3500.

All the candidates joining the course shall execute a bond in the prescribed form on a non-judicial stamped paper of Rs.100 value along with two sureties (parents/guardian) to ensure completion of the prescribed period of course or in default to pay the bond amount of Rs.50000 and shall also have to refund the amount if any received as stipend up to that date to NIMS.
