PC PNDT Exam 3rd Attempt Results Declared by DME Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh: The Director of Medical Education (DME) has released the results of the PCPNDT exam 3rd attempt. The written exam was held on 23rd May 2022, and the practical exam on 28th May 2022. at Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital.

A total of 17 candidates have attended the exam, out of which 15 candidates have cleared the exam. The report consists of roll number, name of candidates, name of the father, marks, in theory, marks in practical, total marks, and pass or fail. The detailed result is attached to the notice below.

DME has stated that to be declared a pass in the PCPNDT exam, candidates must secure 50% in theory and 60% in practical. Total marks, including theory and practical, are 200, and out of this 200 minimum of 110 marks the candidates have to secure.

Candidates note that DME will issue certificates soon in the prescribed form to those who have cleared the exam. This PCPNDT exam's 3rd attempt was the last time the exam was organized according to the letter from the Government of India (9th January 2014) and rectification on 26th June 2020.

The candidate Dr. Nitin Tahliyani's (roll no 200018) results will not be declared because of the petition filed at the high court on 21st May 2022. The final result will depend on the judgment given by the high court.

Pre-Conception and Prenatal Diagnostic Techniques (PC&PNDT) Act was formed in 1994 by the Parliament of India to stop female foeticides and reduce the declining sex ratio in India. The act banned prenatal sex determination. The act's primary purpose is to ban the use of sex selection techniques before or after conception and prevent the misuse of a prenatal diagnostic technique for sex-selective abortion.

DME is the state authority under the control of the state government. It overlooks medical and dental education in the state through medical and dental colleges. It is located in Raipur.
