PG medico hospitalized after alleged suicide attempt

Warangal: A post-graduate medical student reportedly made an attempt to commit suicide by consuming sleeping tablets.

The student, is currently in her second year of the GP course at Kakatiya Medical College (KMC) in Warangal. She was promptly taken to MGM Hospital, where doctors are providing her with treatment.

KMC Principal Mohandas, said that this incident is not a suicide attempt by the medical student. She has been suffering from migraines for a long time and takes medication for it. Her friends brought her to the hospital when she mistakenly took her migraine medication twice this morning.

Mohandas stated that the student's health condition is stable, and there were no reports of harassment by senior students.

Superintendent of MGM Hospital, Chandrasekhar, confirmed that she explained she had taken the medication for migraines, and her condition is currently fine.
