PGIMER MD, MS sponsored category counselling to be held on 25th August

Chandigarh: Through a recent notice, the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has announced that the counseling to sponsored candidates for MD, MS course will held on 25th August, 2021 (Wednesday) at 10:45 AM.

Further, the Institute has also informed that the candidates who have qualified the INI-CET July-2021 conducted by AIIMS New Delhi and are allotted seat at PGIMER, Chandigarh in the 1st Round of seat allocation of MD, MS, MDS Courses for July 2021 session, are required to deposit the Original documents/certificates along with two Xerox set at the time of reporting.

This is for the information of the candidates who applied under sponsored category for admission to MD/MS course at PGIMER Chandigarh and qualified the INI-CET conducted by AIIMS New Delhi that the physical counseling/seat allotment for admission to the above said courses will be held on 25th August, 2021 (Wednesday) at 10:45 AM in the Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

All the qualified and eligible candidates are required to produce NOC and sponsored certificate from their respective employers before counseling failing which they will not be considered for counseling and admission.

Candidates are requested to be seated in the auditorium at 10:45 AM sharp on 25.08.2021 and follow social distancing and Covid-19 protocol.

The candidates who have qualified the INI-CET July-2021 conducted by AIIMS New Delhi and are allotted seat at PGIMER, Chandigarh in the 1st Round of seat allocation of MD/MS/MDS Courses for July 2021 session, are required to deposit the following Original documents/certificates along with two Xerox set in this office at the time of reporting:-

1. Seat allotment letter issued by INI-CET, AIIMS, New Delhi

2. Copy of bank transaction details of deposit of Rs. 3 lakhs with AIIMS (in case of nondeposit of original certificates)

3. Matriculation certificate or its equivalent certificate.

4. MBBS/BDS degree certificate and other relevant certificates having bearing on your selection.

5. Certificate of recognition of college / University from Medical/Dental Council of India.

6. Certificate of having completed internship or rotatory house job by 30th June, 2021 or earlier.

7. Permanent Registration Certificate with the Central/State Medical/Dental Council. Only those candidates will be eligible to join who hold the permanent registration certificate. Provisional registration will not be accepted. In case you do not hold the permanent registration certificate then please seek extension in joining time for a day or so by writing to this office but report for joining only after you have obtained the permanent registration certificate.

8. Caste Certificate (if applicable) in English/Hindi version.

9. Character Certificate from the Institute last attended.

10. Migration Certificate from the Institute/University with which you were last registered.

11. Rural Area Certificate issued by the District Magistrate. (if applicable)

12. Latest OBC Certificate (excluding creamy layer) signed by the District Magistrate. (If applicable) on the prescribed form of Government of India.

13. Three copies of your latest passport size coloured photographs.

14. Copy of Aadhar card and PAN card.

Apart from above, the following documents are to be submitted at the time of joining in the Institute:-

i. Agreement (as perspecimen) on the stamp paper of Rs.10, notarized by the notary.

ii. Undertaking by the candidates (as per specimen) on the stamp paper of Rs.20, notarized by the notary.

iii. One Surety bond (of two persons) on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 25 each, duly attested by 1st Class Magistrate (as per specimen). In case the person standing surety has property in different locations then separate surety bonds of both the persons should be submitted.

iv. Affidavit of two surety holders duly attested by notary (as per specimen).

v. Affidavit/Undertaking for anti-ragging (as per specimen) on the stamp paper of Rs.20, notarized by the notary to be submitted by the Candidate & Parent/Guardian individually.

The specimen/format of the above documents i.e. i to v at Annexure-I. 

The selected candidates who are willing to join the Institute may report in the Bhargava Auditorium at PGIMER, Chandigarh from August 17, 18, 19 & 21 between 10 AM to 03 PM.
