Punjab: Except Final Year, all MBBS, BDS, BAMS classes to be held online
Chandigarh: In a major decision, the Punjab Medical Education and Research department on Monday announced online classes for all classes of MBBS, BDS and BAMS except for final year students till further orders.
Giving details, Medical Education and Research Minister O P Soni said this decision had been taken in the wake of rising cases of coronavirus so that health safety of medical institutions could be ensured.

He further said that except for final year students, all other students could attend online classes and they need not stay in hostels.
He also mentioned that the department had also issued orders for online classes till further orders for the first-year students of Nursing Schools and Colleges.
