Hyderabad: In a recent notification, the Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC) has announced its proposal to review and determine fee structures of private unaided professional institutes in the State for the block period 2023-2024 to 2025-2026.

TAFRC will review the fee structures for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Super Speciality medical courses, UG and PG Dental courses, Nursing, BAMS, BHMS, Homeopathy, and several paramedical courses.

In this regard, TAFRC has asked the management of the concerned private un-aided professional colleges in the State of Telangana to submit the relevant data regarding the FY 2022-2023, together with the Audited Financial Statements for the years 2022-2023.

"The Managements of the concerned Private Un-aided Professional Colleges in the State of Telangana are hereby required to submit relevant data relating to the FY 2022-2023, together with their Audited Financial Statements for the years 2022-23 (for the financial year 01.04.2022 to 31.12.2022 shall be signed by the Auditor and for 01.01.2023 to 31.03.2023 shall be signed by the Secretary of the Society) and 2021-22 and 2020-21, online at http://tafrconline.telangana.gov.in/ by 30th April, 2023, positively (last date for submission of the relevant data along with the fee proposals), as per the guidelines available in the same web site. Online submission can be made from 01.04.2023 onwards. The data shall be furnished programme-wise, paying the prescribed processing charges as prescribed in the Guidelines (Link available in http://tafrconline.telangana.gov.in/ through Online Payment Gateway," read the TAFRC notification issued on 31.03.2023.

The Fee Committee has further warned that any institute which is unresponsive or does not submit statements of income and expenditure, audited balance sheets, requirements for developmental needs for the immediately preceding year, particulars of expenditure incurred on salaries and infrastructure and other particulars as may be specified (with supporting bills, vouchers or receipts, etc.,), shall not be permitted to collect any fee.
