UP DGME Notifies Guidelines for PCPNDT 2024 Online Counselling, Details
Uttar Pradesh- Uttar Pradesh, Director General, Medical Education and Training (UPDGME) has issued necessary guidelines regarding the online examination of the first and second phases of PCPNDT (six monthly) counselling for the academic session 2024-25.
As per the guidelines, the online counselling of PCPNDT-2024 is to be organized as soon as possible, therefore below are the important guidelines for participating in the said counselling-
1 The candidate must have appeared in the NEET PG-2024 examination and have been declared qualified in the examination.
2 For counselling of PCPNDT-2024, candidates whose internship has been completed by 15.08.2024 will be eligible for counselling.
3 It will be mandatory for the candidate to be a resident of Uttar Pradesh state and to be registered with the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council.
4 Candidates who are currently pursuing a postgraduate course or have failed in it will not be eligible for admission in this course.
5 20% of the total seats available for PCPNDT counselling are reserved for candidates serving in the Medical and Health Department and other government services of the State of Uttar Pradesh.
6 Only those candidates included in the list of eligible candidates provided by the Medical and Health Department for the said counselling will be eligible for the said reservation. These candidates will not be allowed any other type of weightage.
7 The merit list for PCPNDT counselling will be released on the basis of All India Rank.
8 For the candidates belonging to economically weaker sections and other backward classes, only the reservation certificates issued after 01.04.2024 will be permissible.
9 All certificates related to reservation (except Disability Certificate) will be valid only if issued by the competent authority of Uttar Pradesh in the format prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Government.
10 Reservation certificate will not be valid on the form of certificate submitted for appointment to posts under the Government of India.
11 Disability Certificates will be valid only if issued from the designated centres and on the prescribed format as per instructions issued by the Medical Counselling Committee, Director General of Health Services (DGHS) Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi.
12 Counselling (Phase 1 and Phase 2) of the PCPNDT course will be conducted in a single round. If eligible candidates from reserved categories are not available in the said counselling, then the process of allocation of such reserved seats will be completed by merging the seats as per the system contained in the government order. Such seats will be displayed under Virtual vacancy (SAC).
13 No stipend will be payable to the candidates during training for the PCPNDT course.
