UP Medical Council notifies on Round 2 FMG Internship Counselling, details
Uttar Pradesh- Through a notice, the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council (UPMC) has informed regarding the second cycle of online counselling for the June 2025 internship for Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) candidates
The notice stated the important guidelines for choice filling and allotment process of the 2nd round of online counselling for internship of FMG candidates passed out from abroad. Below are the guidelines-
1 After the allotment result made on the basis of choice locking done by the candidates in the first round of counseling and participating in the online counseling (June-2025) for internship of FMG candidates passed from abroad, all the remaining candidates who have completed the process of Document Verification and who have not been allotted a seat in the first round of counseling of June-2025, only such candidates will be eligible to participate in the second round of counseling.
2 The choice filling done by all the eligible candidates in the first round will be cancelled and the portal will be made available again for choice filling in the second round as per the schedule.
3 For choice filling for the available seats in medical colleges in the second round of counseling, the eligible candidates must lock their choices by filling their choices by 17 July 2025. The process begins on 11th July 2025.
4 Seats will be allotted on the basis of choice locking. Preference of candidates who are natives of Uttar Pradesh (UP Domicile) will be given priority in allotment, after that the remaining vacant seats will be allotted to such candidates who are not natives of Uttar Pradesh (Non-Domicile). Meanwhile, the timetable of the second cycle is as follows-
