Etawah: In an unfortunate incident, a 27-year-old MBBS doctor who was preparing for the upcoming NEET PG medical examination reportedly committed suicide in her house located in Arjun Nagar, Pakka Bagh area.

A suicide note recovered by the police revealed that she was suffering from chronic depression, anxiety, and despair, and felt unable to endure the mental pain any longer. In the note, she clearly stated that no one else should be held responsible for her decision and apologised to her parents and family.

However, the family members of the deceased doctor alleged that around 16 days ago, she had attempted suicide due to the immense mental pressure.

While the reason behind the doctor's death is unknown, the police found two videos on her personal tablet through technical unlocking, and it is now under forensic and scientific investigation. The police have seized her tablet, phone, and laptop as part of the investigation.

As per ETV Bharat media report, the incident took place when the doctor's father had arrived back at home and found the door locked from the inside. The doctors and her father were living together while her mother was visiting her eldest son in Bangalore at the time of this incident.

When the father noticed the door was locked from the inside, he called her several times but received no response. Then he called the neighbours and managed to get the door open. After entering her room, he found her dead.

After getting the information, the local police force, together with a senior team of forensics, quickly came to the location and began a preliminary investigation, where they found the suicide note.

Considering the sensitivity of the case, the post-mortem test was performed under the strict guidance of three top-ranking doctors in the presence of videography. According to the police, every bit of information written in the suicide note and the digital records of the devices will be analysed in a court of law.
