Bhopal: In a shocking incident, a doctor has been booked for allegedly sexually assaulting a nurse on the pretext of marriage in Bhopal's Sukhi Sewania on Monday.
The nurse is a 40-year-old woman who worked at the doctor's private hospital when she was subject to sexual assault.
The complaint was made under the section 376 (rape) and other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) after the woman who used to work under the doctor reported that she was allegedly raped and also became a victim of blackmailing.

As per a media report in TOI, the incident took place in September 2021 at the private hospital owned by the doctor. The nurse was working alone at the hospital when the doctor allegedly raped her. At the time of the assault, the doctor promised her that he would marry her, due to which the nurse was raped on multiple occasions.
However, the nurse soon discovered that the doctor was married and confronted the doctor. Following this, the doctor blackmailed her, saying that he had her intimate videos and photographs, which he will share publicly to defame her if she took any action against him.
Later, she decided to report the matter to the police and filed a complaint against the doctor on Monday.
According to the police, the accused is absconding and an investigation is underway to nab him soon.
