Covid-hit UP doctor airlifted to KIMS Secunderabad for lung transplant
The woman doctor, a postgraduate resident at gynecology department of Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), Lucknow, had contracted Covid19 on April 14, KIMS hospitals said in a release.

Hyderabad: A female resident doctor of Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), Lucknow has been airlifted to KIMS Secunderabad here for Lung transplant.
Dr Sharda Suman, a postgraduate resident at RMLIMS's gynecology department, had contracted Covid-19 on April 14, KIMS hospitals said in a release here on Saturday.
She was 32 weeks pregnant then and her health condition deteriorated severely due to Covid. So, she was put on a ventilator and emergency C-section surgery was done on May 1st to save the child.
