Delhi Govt constitutes Delhi Medical Council for next 5 years, check out members
New Delhi: After much delay on account of the coronavirus pandemic, the Delhi government has finally announced the constitution of the Delhi Medical Council, announcing its members under various sections
In the exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 and subsection (1) of section 4 of the Delhi Medical Council Act, 1997 (Delhi Act 5 of 1997), the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi has announced the names of members of the Delhi Medical Council. As per the act, the council contains 4 members nominated by the government, one member representative of each medical college of the capital, 9 elected members, as well as Dean Medical faculty, DU and DGHS as ex-offico members
The tenures of the members will be the next 5 years. The members include;
