Doctor arrested in Faridabad explosives case; family denies terror links

He said his family, who are farmers by occupation, have been targeted by stone-pelters in the past for being nationalists.

Medical Dialogues recently reported that a deadly car blast near the Red Fort area in New Delhi on Monday evening, which killed eight people and injured 20, has revealed shocking details, including the alleged involvement of doctors linked to international handlers operating from Afghanistan and Pakistan and were reportedly connected with the Pulwama attack. Recently, a Hyderabad-based doctor was arrested, and his arrest has blown the lid off one of the most disturbing terror networks in recent years involving radicalised medical professionals, chemical weapons, and links to international handlers.

"We are completely Indians and we have taken stones for India. You can verify it from anyone in the village," he said.

When asked about his arrested brother, he said he was a "good person".

"You can ask around about him. There are allegations about his involvement in terror activities, but we have not been allowed to meet him so far," he added, reports PTI.

He said his brother had come home to attend his sister's wedding, which was scheduled to take place on Sunday, but has now been cancelled. 

The accused doctor had earlier visited Kashmir when his father had undergone a surgical procedure, the brother of the doctor said.
