Gujarat: FIR against 2 for slapping, assaulting resident doctor of Sola Hospital
Ahmedabad: Cases of violence against doctors seem no bound as a resident doctor at the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS) Hospital in Sola area was slapped and assaulted by two men on Monday.
The duo has been booked by the police. An FIR has been lodged at Sola High Court police station against the two attackers identified as Harish Parmar and Jigar Parmar, residents of Wankarvas in Sola village of Ahmedabad.
The incident took place on Monday around 1.45 am when the accused who met with road accident reached the hospital's emergency ward for treatment. The doctor asked them to go to the X-ray department. He further told one of them to get a stretcher for his friend. However, the man started fooling around instead of getting the stretcher.
