NBMCH junior doctor killed in car accident, 3 injured

According to the latest media report by Siliguri Times, the collision was severe, resulting in injuries to all occupants of both vehicles. Police personnel from Naxalbari police station and the Naxalbari Traffic Guard rushed to the spot and rescued the injured victims.

All the injured were first taken to NBMCH for treatment. However, despite medical efforts, Dr Bhaduri succumbed to her injuries. The remaining three injured persons were shifted to Naxalbari Hospital. Later, two of them were referred back to NBMCH as their condition was critical, while one person was discharged after receiving primary treatment.

Police have seized both vehicles involved in the accident and started an investigation to find out the exact cause of the crash.

Medical Dialogues had reported that a student of a government dental college was run over by a speeding vehicle recently, and two fellow doctors accompanying her were seriously injured. 

The deceased has been identified as a 26-year-old final-year student of Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) and a resident of Patran, Punjab. Meanwhile, two injured final-year MDS students were taken to the hospital. Both sustained multiple fractures.
