As per the latest media report by India Today, the issue came to light after the Income Tax raid at the home of the doctor couple last month. During the raid, the investigating agency seized cash worth Rs 1.30 crores.

The doctors have been asked to submit such declaration on a stamp paper of Rs 10 within two days.

If the doctors are found to be engaged in private practice, then strict action will be taken against them, mentioned the letter by the principal of GSVM medical college.
