Scuffle at PMCH: BJP leader Manish Kashyap allegedly assaulted by Junior doctors
Patna: A shocking incident unfolded at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), where a group of junior resident doctors reportedly held hostage a famous YouTuber and BJP leader, Manish Kashyap, in a room for three hours and brutally assaulted him following an altercation.
While the junior doctors have been booked in connection with the incident, they claimed that Manish Kashyap was attacked after he misbehaved with a female junior doctor, which reportedly angered the junior doctors, leading to a heated argument that eventually turned into violence.

As per a latest media report by India Today, the doctor allegedly locked Kashyap in a room inside the hospital for three hours and assaulted him until others intervened to rescue him and calm the situation. Later, Kashyap was admitted to the hospital and shared photos from a hospital bed on social media, claiming he is undergoing treatment.
The incident took place on Monday afternoon when Kashyap visited the hospital to speak to hospital authorities on behalf of a patient. At that time, he allegedly got into a dispute with a female junior doctor.
According to eyewitnesses, the situation got out of control when Kashyap started recording videos within the hospital premises regarding the matter, which angered the junior doctors on duty. He was then beaten up and suffered injuries.
The hospital was in chaos, and the situation was brought under control after the Patna Police arrived at the scene.
Meanwhile, Manish Kashyap has denied all allegations of misbehaviour. He claimed that he was only trying to help a patient and accused the doctors of attacking him without any reason, reports ABP.
On the other hand, hospital staff alleged that Kashyap misbehaved with the doctors first, which led to the confrontation. They defended the actions of the junior doctors, saying it was a reaction to his aggressive behaviour with the female junior doctor.
Later, both sides registered an FIR against each other regarding the incident. An investigation is underway.
