Himachal Pradesh: 4 Govt Medical College Principals transferred

Shimla: The principals of four government medical colleges have been given a transfer order by the Himachal Pradesh government.
Dr Surinder Singh, the principal of Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) and Hospital, Shimla, was transferred to lead the charges of Dr YS Parmar Medical College, Nahan. Dr Sita Thakur has been posted as the principal of the IGMC, reports the Tribune India.
Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), Shimla Himachal Pradesh was established in 1966 and is affiliated with Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Government Medical College was established in 2016 by the upgradation of Regional Hospital, District Sirmaur at Nahan. Dr. YSPGMC is affiliated with Atal Medical and Research University.
