According to the police, the 48-year-old nurse alleged that the accused sexually exploited her for over two years by repeatedly promising her a promotion. In her statement, she further claimed that he subjected her to “unnatural sex”, with the abuse continuing until April 2025.
The complaint also stated that in April this year, the principal allegedly asked the woman to send her young daughter to him, suggesting he would help her pursue a B.Pharm. course “with his blessings.” When the nurse refused, she alleged that he had terminated her employment the same month.

The incident came to light when the woman approached police and lodged the complaint, which led to the registration of the FIR, reports the TOI. Police revealed that the accused has been absconding since the case came to light. A team has been dispatched to trace and arrest him.
Investigators also conducted a forensic examination at the accused’s residence near the college to collect evidence in connection with the case.
Speaking to NDTV, the police stated that the case is being investigated from all angles. The principal is currently being traced. The police are investigating. Therefore, further details cannot be shared at this time.

The arrest follows a complaint filed by the victim’s mother. The medical practitioner based in Salcete was taken into custody on Friday after the victim, who has worked at the clinic and diagnostic centre for several years, reported the assault.
