MY Hospital to Dedicate New OT for Dental Procedures

Indore: One of the newly constructed operation theatres (OTs) at Indore's Maharaja Yeshwantrao (MY) Hospital will now be dedicated to dental surgeries. The decision was made during the recent executive council meeting of the Government Dental College, which was attended online by Tarun Rathi, Commissioner of Public Health and Medical Education.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that the newly built modular operation theatres (OTs) at Maharaja Yeshwantrao (MY) Hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, are expected to be operational within a month. This upgrade will provide patients with access to advanced surgical facilities. This expansion is a vital step in addressing the growing demand for surgical procedures at the hospital. A department-wise allocation of the new operating theatres (OTs) will be determined in an upcoming meeting at MGM Medical College to ensure their optimal utilization.
