International Men's Day: Vicky Kaushal launches first of its kind Aesthetic Clinic for Men at Nanavati Max Hospital

Mumbai: Nanavati Max Super Specialty Hospital, Mumbai announced the launch of a first-of-its-kind 'Aesthetic Clinic for Men' and a unique Men's Health Awareness Campaign at the hospital ahead of International Men's Day on November 17.
Noted Bollywood actor, Vicky Kaushal inaugurated the campaign and Aesthetic Clinic For Men—attached to a quaternary care medical facility here.

Orating the public on the dire need to raise awareness about men's health, Mangla Dembi, Senior Vice President and Head, of Nanavati Max Super Specialty Hospital, said, "International Men's Day is about celebrating the unsung heroes who make personal sacrifices to ensure that their loved ones get to live peaceful, fulfilling, enriching and exciting lives. However, according to Harvard Health Publishing of the Harvard Medical School, men not only die at a younger age than women but are also more prone to illness during life. The campaign is aimed at raising awareness about men's health and encouraging them to pursue routine health check-ups and stay updated about their conditions."
Dr. Kalpana Sarangi, Senior Consultant, Cosmetology and Dermatology, Nanavati Max Hospital, who is spearheading the Aesthetic Clinic for Men said that due to the large extent of misleading information, the awareness about general skin and hair care is extremely low among men.
"Modern lifestyle has caused an early onset of aging symptoms both in skin and hair. Baldness is observed commonly in the 20s and due to social media exposure, even working men are conscious of their appearance. With Aesthetic Clinic for Men, we aim to provide access to state-of-the-art treatment protocols with the latest technology to facilitate holistic skin and hair care regime for men," Dr. Sarangi said.
