Patna: A state-of-the-art hospital in Patna, spearheaded by renowned teacher and social reformer Khan Sir, is nearing completion, with its dialysis centre and operation theatre fully ready to serve patients. The facility aims to provide quality healthcare affordable and accessible, especially for the poor.

Khan Sir, celebrated for his unique teaching methods and dedication to public welfare, personally inspected the hospital this week. During his visit, he meticulously examined the dialysis machines, surgical equipment, and patient facilities, directing staff to implement immediate improvements wherever necessary.

“Our aim is to make healthcare accessible to everyone. Treatment here will be cheaper than in government hospitals,” Khan Sir stated. The hospital, designed with modern amenities including a blood bank, dialysis unit, and cancer treatment facilities, aims to set new standards for affordable medical care in Bihar.

Redesigned Operation Theatre

The operation theatre underwent complete reconstruction after Khan Sir identified flaws in the initial layout. The original design used glossy tiles, which he deemed unsafe for surgical environments due to bacterial growth in the tile joints.

According to the Patna Press, recalling the decision in one of his classes, Khan Sir explained, “When two tiles join, their fine gap becomes a home for bacteria, viruses, and fungus. Even a mustard seed could hold thousands of them.” To ensure hygiene, the hospital replaced tiles with special medical-grade anti-infection mats that resemble marble but are safer for surgical use.

Fully Functional Dialysis Centre

The hospital’s dialysis centre is now fully functional, featuring advanced machinery and strict infection control measures. Khan Sir personally tested the equipment under the supervision of medical professionals.

Speaking to the Patna Press, sources close to the project suggest that the hospital’s inauguration could take place soon, though the exact location remains undisclosed.
