Briefing reporters here on Monday, Dr Sunil Agarwal, a senior cardiologist and director of Om Hospital, claimed that this kit helps in keeping the patient safe till the time of arrival at the hospital.

If anyone takes pills from this kit after having a heart attack, they get breathing time till they reach the hospital and multiplies their chances of survival, he said.

The cardiac kit can greatly reduce the risk to the heart patient's life, he said and pointed that one can easily keep it in one's pockets at all times.

This kit can come handy in cases where a person is aged under 50 years and physically fit but has fallen victim to heart attack, Dr Agarwal added.
