Safdarjung Hospital to get private wards on PM Modi's birthday
Dr. BL Sherwal, Medical Superintendent of the Hospital said that the hospital will be inaugurated by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. Since the facility is a private hospital, the cost of the rooms will rise to Rs 3,000 per day and the rate of the treatments will be followed as per Central Government Health Scheme norms.;

New Delhi: The private ward at the centre-run Safdarjung Hospital will be inaugurated by Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya on September 17 to improve patient healthcare amenities.
Previously, it was planned that the private ward located in the super-specialty block of the hospital would be inaugurated in October. However, the plan has been preponed to September 17, Narendra Modi's birthday.
Dr. BL Sherwal, Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, said that the hospital would be inaugurated by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. Since the facility is a private hospital, the cost of the rooms will rise to Rs 3,000 per day, and the rates of the treatments will be followed as per Central Government Health Scheme norms.
