Auraiya: In a major setback to two private hospitals in Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) has recently sealed the hospital after two patients died here due to alleged negligence of the hospitals. 

Following the death of a man and a woman in two private hospitals and allegations of negligence by the concerned families here, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) on Monday sealed both of these hospitals till further orders, police sources said on Monday.

As per sources here, Jitendra Kumar (35), had been admitted to the Govind Hospital situated opposite the district hospital on Saturday afternoon. However, Jitendra succumbed while receiving treatment on Sunday.

Subsequently, the family of the patient created an uproar alleging negligence of the hospital employees. Jitendra used to work in Delhi. Hospital owner Govind Pal said that the youth died due to a heart attack, reports UNI.

Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported a similar incident, where the license of a private hospital in Meerut district was suspended after a video showing its staff member providing a fake Corona report in return for money, went viral on the social media.
